In its recently published ‘strategy for opposing weapons of mass destruction’, the U.S. Defense Department defined China and Russia as ‘severe threat’ and the DPRK as ‘permanent threat’.

This behavior becomes another provocation to independent and sovereign states, the ministry said in a statement.

The note stressed that the first permanent threat is Washington, which has the world’s largest number of weapons of mass destruction and is so far the only nuclear war criminal for using atomic bombs against another state.

This year, the U.S. conducted large-scale joint military exercises never seen in history and put into operation a nuclear strike drill apparatus according to its war script against the DPRK, the Defense Ministry said.

The DPRK armed forces will remain faithful to their militant mission and deal with the provocations of the U.S. imperialist aggressors with the most crushing and persistent strategy, the text concluded.
