The aforementioned conference was held this year in Havana, the capital of Cuba, as a tribute to José Martí, in which more than 100 delegates from 89 countries participated.

Lawmakers and civil society’s prominent figures in Merida, the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán, attended the activity. The Arts and Culture Committee of the Congress convened the event.
Hernández Pardo referred to the importance of this world forum of thought, plural and multidisciplinary, and the value of the digital document he presented and handed over to the lawmakers, who participated as delegates, and the Presidency of the Congress.
After emphasizing the historical, cultural, and solidarity ties between southeastern Mexico and Cuba, the deputy director general of the Martí Program Office announced the call for the 6th International Conference for the World’s Balance, scheduled for January 2025, and urged to work for the integration of a large delegation to attend the gathering.
Attending the meeting were: Cuban Consul in Yucatan, Raisel Calvo, and Carlos Bojórquez, a member of the World Council at the José Martí Project for World Solidarity.
