The 10th edition of Expoaladi is being taken place at Havana’s Pabexpo Exhibition Site, attended by 364 Latin American companies from different nations, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
ProCuba, a national entity for the promotion of foreign trade and foreign investment, is part of the organizing committee of this meeting, which seeks to promote the main business opportunities and exportable sources of goods and services of the Caribbean country.
Cuba’s First Deputy Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister Ana Teresita González said the event will contribute to boosting and diversifying intra-regional trade and fostering productive integration in the area.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero attended Monday´s opening ceremony at the Havana International Conference Center (HICC).
The multisectoral Business Macro-Roundtable seeks to promote the economic development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
According to organizers, the majestic meeting focuses on exchanging goods in the agribusiness and livestock, food and beverages, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, textiles, clothing and footwear, plastics, containers and packaging sectors, which play a prominent role in the regional economy.
