Since 1903, this educational institution has been an essential part of Cuba’s musical panorama, helping to nourish the new generations’ talent.
Important figures of the national musical environment who are graduates from this school, such as Roberto Valera, Guido López-Gavilán, José María Vitier, and Zenaida Castro Romeu, as well as other cultural prominent figures, will attend the celebration.
The Cubarte website reported that different student formats of the Conservatory will perform pieces of great Cuban and foreign composers such as Manuel Saumell, Ignacio Cervantes, Gonzalo Roig, Amadeo Roldán, Juan Formell, Michel Legrand, Duke Ellington, and Rafael Hernández among
others.
