Cuba participated in an online conference given by National Literature Prize-winner Reynaldo Gonzalez at the headquarters of the National Museum of Rumanian Literature, an important cultural institution.

The exhibition focused on the origins of Cuban literature as an expression of national independence.

Photographers Sonia Almaguer Darna (Cuba) and Miki Puran (Rumania) exhibited images of the famous Havana’s Malecon seawall and Havana City.

The film “Nido de Mantis” (Mantis Nest) by Cuban director Arturo Sotto was screened. There was also a reading of a chapter from a novel by Vladimir Pérez Casal and debates on elements of 19th-century Cuban literature.
