At the headquarters of the National Museum of Romanian Literature, an important cultural institution, Cuba was presented with an online conference given by the National Literature Prize-winner Reynaldo Gonzalez.

The exhibition dealt with the origins of Cuban literature as a manifestation of national independence, an exhibition by Cuban photographer Sonia Almaguer Darna and Romanian photographer Miki Puran.

Plus, the film “Nido de Mantis”, by Cuban director Arturo Sotto, was screened. There was also a reading of a chapter from a novel by author Vladimir Perez Casal as well as debates on elements of 19th century Cuban literature.

In her opening remarks, Cuban Ambassador Déborah Ojeda laid stress on the role of culture in bringing peoples closer together.
