Orban stated on a national radio station that the EU feels the lack of funds but still proposes to increase financial aid to Ukraine.
The head of Government noted that all the community’s countries will have to give more to receive less.
He expressed doubts that European countries could pay back the money the EU plans to give Ukraine in loans.

Gergely Gulyas, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, told reporters on Thursday that Hungary would not support amendments to the EU budget to provide additional financial aid to Ukraine if the bloc does not pay Budapest the money it owes.
