In a communiqué to the nation, the head of State reiterated his democratic vocation and commitment with the handover of the office on January 14, 2024, in an act that will complete a planned process since the beginning of 2023 “with the greatest possible rigor, care and responsibility.”
“After receiving the names and personal data of those who will coordinate each team of ministries and secretariats of the presidency, we will proceed to prepare the schedule of the sectorial meetings for the delivery of the information,” Giammattei said.
Giammattei urged the President-elect that the people who will be in charge of the portfolios and secretariats participate in these meetings.
The president added, “in order to guarantee the effectiveness of the process and that the change of authorities is not an obstacle for the institutions to continue working for the sake of the population.”
He assured that his government will continue to inform through the official media about the meetings, so that transparency prevails inasmuch as serving to document the actions.
