“The Movement strongly condemns the terrorist attack perpetrated on the Cuban Embassy in Washington, the United States, on Sunday evening,” the document sent to Prensa Latina stated.
It added that this action ratified the aggressors’ intention to defeat the Cuban Revolution, “which is supported by the values of a dignified and courageous people.”
The text noted that anti-Cuban groups resort to terrorism when they feel complacency and impunity.
Along with the international community, the Movement calls on US authorities to enforce the laws and punish those accused of endangering the life and sovereignty of a peaceful nation, in solidarity with all countries globally,” it added.
La Paz activists reaffirmed their commitment to “continue supporting Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and his people in the struggle against the economic, commercial, and financial US blockade.
The document demanded that the US Government remove Cuba from the “unilateral and infamous” list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
