In a message to the first secretary of the Communist Party and president of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, Kim pointed out that the WPK, the Government and the Korean people value the friendship and cooperation between the two nations and will continue to cultivate them, the State news agency KCNA reported on Wednesday.
The president also wished his Cuban counterpart and the people every success in the construction of socialism.
In August 1948, the DPRK elected the Supreme People’s Assembly, and on September 3, a new Constitution was promulgated. Six days later, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was proclaimed with Kim Il Sung as prime minister.
