In a statement, the MPs expressed this is a terrorist act from the counterrevolution, with the complicity of the U.S. government, “which proves the contempt for the rights of the peoples; the disrespect for the sovereignty of nations and the International Law,” PARLACEN noted.
“It is a clear response to the achievements obtained by Cuba at UNGA´s 78th Session, where a great number of nations called the United States to put an end to the cruel and inhumane blockade imposed on Cuba.
PARLACEN members added they requested that Cuba be excluded from the States Sponsoring Terrorism (SST) list.
“The terrorist action is due to the counterrevolution’s repudiation of the noteworthy and warm expressions of friendship and solidarity of the American people and Cubans residing in the United States to Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel in his tour across New York’s streets, PARLACEN deemed.
Likewise, Cuban president reaffirmed his belief in multilateralism and in the power of unity in diversity at the G77+China Summit.
