In its message, Anaic repudiates this cowardly attack carried out by an individual who threw two homemade incendiary bombs, Molotov cocktails, against that diplomatic headquarters, the second act of this type in a little more than three years, since the one committed in April 2020 when a man opened fire with a rifle against that facility.
The solidarity group points out that such actions are a sign of the frustration of the most aggressive sectors of the Cuban counterrevolution, sponsored and encouraged by the U.S. government, which allows them to carry out such crimes with total impunity.
The stateless people exploded with rage at “the great success of the latest actions of the Cuban government” among which stand out the meeting in Havana of the G77+China, the relevant participation of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel in the United Nations General Assembly, the text points out.
They also refer to events during the visit of the Cuban leader to the United States, such as the recent “high-level meetings on financing for development and response to pandemics, meetings with religious leaders of different Christian denominations; with artists and cultural promoters and with Cubans living in that country.
