Activist Calla Walsh, co-president of the National Network of Solidarity with Cuba, convened the rally, scheduled for Monday afternoon, at 5:30 p.m., local time, to bring flowers to the diplomatic headquarters in rejection of the new aggression and as a sign of support for the Caribbean island.
“End terrorism against Cuba,” “Let Cuba live,” stressed Walsh, who called for an investigation into the matter, in a video on social networks.
Manolo de los Santos, co-director of The People’s Forum, in turn, recalled that this “is the second time that a violent attack is perpetrated on the Cuban Embassy.”
We demand an investigation into this crime, De Los Santos said, and repeated on his account on X, formerly Twitter, that “the US Government should stop protecting terrorists.”
