“Our solidarity with the brotherly Cuban people and government ahead of the terror attack Sunday night on the Cuban Embassy in Washington. Honduras strongly condemns this criminal incident,” Reina posted on X social media.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry (MINREX), the attack cropped up as an individual tossed two Molotov cocktails onto the perimeter fence of the Cuban embassy.

This is the second violent action against the diplomatic mission since April 2020, when another individual fired a 30-round burst with an assault rifle.
