Spanish MEP Manu Pineda described as intolerable and violence fueled by haters the attack with two Molotov cocktails on Cuba’s diplomatic headquarters in Washington D.C., which was targeted in April 2020 by another terrorist act.
On behalf of La France Insoumise (France Unbowed), its head of International Relations, Christian Rodriguez, condemned the attack and framed it in the context of Washington’s aggressive policy on Cuba, characterized by a blockade that he called criminal.
In Brussels, Maite Mola, leader of the Party of the European Left, in turn, demanded the end of the attacks on Cuba.
The Belgian Labor Party and the Cubanismo.be association also expressed their rejection of the attack, as well as the French organizations Cuba Linda and France Cuba.
On behalf of the Europe for Cuba channel, Coordinator José Antonio Toledo repudiated the aggression and urged US authorities to punish the promoters and those responsible.
Along with the condemnation, reactions were accompanied by messages of solidarity with Cuba, its people, its government and its Revolution.
