A message from the Intercontinental Front of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) condemned in the strongest terms the action perpetrated on Sunday night, when two Molotov cocktails were thrown by anti-Cuban groups who resort to terrorism when they feel impunity at the Cuban Embassy in Washington. The groups also reaffirmed their solidarity with the Cuban people and Government. In this regard, the Salvadoran Committee of Solidarity with Nicaragua expressed solidarity with the Cuban diplomatic delegation in the United States due to what it described as an “infamous terrorist attack.”
Other groups, such as the Unitary Federation of Unions (FUSS) and the Rafael Aguiñada Carranza Inter-Union Coordinating Committee, expressed solidarity with the Cuban people and Government “in the face of the despicable terrorist attack on the night of September 24.
