The event is scheduled from October 4-6 at Cuba’s most important hotel.
The regional representative and manager of the Vallformosa group, Marc Perello Colomer, pointed out that as for the novelties to be presented at the meeting, they expect to introduce to the market the latest of their products, a red wine from the prestigious Spanish region of Do Montsant wines, called Cap de Pera, from the 2021 harvest.
The executive added that this product will be successful in the Cuban market, due to its style and gastronomy, as it adapts to the country’s weather.
He explained that Cap de Pera is made with the Garnacha, Samso, Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, and the harvest is carried out manually, at its optimum ripening point between late September and early October.
Masia Vallformosa is a winery with 150 years of history, whose origins date back to 1865 in Vilobi del Penedes, which produces wines and cavas (fourth in the world), where tradition, innovation, sustainability and differentiation coexist in all its aspects.
