World Technology Fair in China promotes food security

Beijing, Sep 20 (Prensa Latina) More than 1,500 exhibitors from some 39 countries and regions are participating in the 30th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair on Wednesday, under the theme "Soil Health and Food Security."

Exhibitors are sharing their experiences and innovations in the agricultural sector and participating in 11 lectures and forums in Yangling, China’s northwest Shaanxi province.

The five-day event will showcase high-tech products, seeds, and equipment, while strengthening cooperation among participants.

The Yangling Agricultural and Forestry College, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the State Administration of Forestry and Grassland, the State Intellectual Property Bureau, and the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government organized the fair.

As part of the event, the 2023 Global Forum on Soil Health was held on Tuesday, and the China-Central Asia Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting and the China-Yangling-Horn of Africa Countries Agricultural Cooperation and Exchange Conference are expected to take place here.
