In this way, the Spanish wholesale operator Enjoy Travel Group (ETG) is aligned with the policies outlined by Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), the source added.
ETG leads Accessible Tourism in Cuba, and contributes strongly to its positioning as an accessible and inclusive destination in both the region and internationally.
He went on to day that it is the first territorial accessible tourism network created in Varadero, and it is made up of the most important service providers from that territory.
The initiative is supported by organizations of people with disabilities, such as the Cuban Association of People with Physical and Motor Disabilities, and Cuba’s national associations of the Deaf and of the Blind.
The Varadero network will contribute to the destination’s Accessibility Development Master Plan with its strategies. The plan seeks to achieve accessibility and be a more inclusive destination. ETG seeks to increase the friendliness of Destination Cuba.
