With great interpretative mastery, Llanes will perform compositions by Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky, Gabriel Fauvré, Ambroise Thomas, as well as Robert Schumann and Giuseppe Verdi.
Accompanying the Cuban soprano in this program will be pianist Vilma Garriga, a string quartet and a cellist.
Under the artistic direction of Helson Hernández and sponsored by the Centro Nacional de Música de Concierto.
Llanes’ concert will take place on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. local time at the Oratorio San Felipe Neri, headquarters of the Lyceum Mozartiano de La Habana, located at Aguiar and Obrapia in Havana’s Historic Center.
