These meetings will be held between October 15 and November 30, 2023 for voters to know details, evaluate and express their opinion on the management and work carried out by their representatives.

The accountability of the delegates to their electors is one of the most important processes carried out by the People’s Power system, as an expression of Cuban socialist democracy. In Monday’s meeting, the Cuban Council, headed by its president, Esteban Lazo, evaluated the main advances on the implementation of the National Program for the Advancement of Women, as well as the fulfillment of the measures approved for the strengthening of the state-owned enterprise, the Cuban News Agency reported.

Measures were also adopted for the development of specific sectors, as is the case of agriculture, sugar and the Program for the improvement of trade and gastronomy activities, among other actions.
