On its profile on the social network X, the Foreign Ministry ratified Cuba’s interest in continuing to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

On September 18, Chileans are celebrating the 213th anniversary of the first National Government Junta, which started the process towards their definitive independence from the Spanish crown.

The events on the occasion will conclude on Tuesday, with the Grand Military Parade in honor of the Glories of the Army.

Although Chile achieved its independence on February 12, 1818, September 18, 1810, paved the way to sovereignty and the consequent formation of Chile as a nation State.
