In statements to Prensa Latina, Cuban Tourism Counselor Elizabeth Vela commented that it was a professional fair that allowed to manage contracts, publish promotional videos, contact new agencies in the sector and, in general, take a step forward in the promotion of Cuba in the Chinese market.
In fact, the official said that the visit to the city of Shenzhen was one of the most productive activities on the sidelines of this event.
There, Vela and the Cuban consul general in Guandong, Denisse Llamos, talked with the executive president of the company Shenzhen Genking Culture Communication, Weng Xiaohui, about a collaboration project that will contribute to the promotion of tourism and culture of Cuba.
According to the Cuban counselor, this project is expected to further deepen economic-commercial ties in the framework of the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Havana and Beijing.
They also met with Ding Zhongyuan, deputy director of the city’s Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports to exchange on joint actions to expand mutual knowledge between the two countries.
