During a meeting in Havana with the Cuban Public Health Minister José Ángel Portal, Mubarak called for strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in this sector.
According to the source, Mubarak praised his government’s interest in promoting several areas of joint work, especially in health, including training and qualification of health personnel.
Both parties agreed to continue communication between the competent authorities of the two countries to explore areas of joint work and activate cooperation protocols.
The meeting was held as part of the activities related to the G77+China Summit, which is being held in Havana, Cuba.
