According to Chaivaivid, director general of the Department of International Economic Affairs at the Foreign Minister, his country has policies of investment in human development.
He cited as an example the policies implemented by the government with science-based approaches to deal with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He acknowledged, however, that this problem and today´s geopolitical conflicts have a negative effect on international cooperation and, therefore, on nations´ development.
He warned that all the member states face similar concerns and appreciated the role of the G77+China as promoters of the technological development of its member states.
In this regard, the head of the Thai delegation urged to capitalize on digital innovation and the promotion of skills in the use of emerging tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
He also called to use, cooperation between the economies of all these countries for the benefit of the people, despite the imbalances between the more developed and less advanced ones.
