The issues and challenges our countries are currently facing up unmasked the present global system and revealed the absence of justice in it, Minister Yaghi added in statements to the pan-Arab Al-Mayedeen channel.

He assured that Syria’s presence at the Summit is a confirmation of its commitment to the principles and objectives of the bloc. We must unite our voices as Southern and developing countries, he said.

Yaghi revealed that during this meeting Damascus began to prepare draft agreements for bilateral cooperation with G77+China member states.

We share common values and we have enough to guarantee the needs and resources for the countries of the Global South, he stated.

I hope the Summit would be a milestone in international action and a fulcrum for change for the benefit of the countries of the Global South.
