On X social media, President Maduro considered the Summit as all-important, which is taking place at the Havana International Conference Center, in the context of “our struggle for a multicentric and pluripolar world”.
By reaffirming our commitment to developing nations, we are building the century of the peoples of the South, Maduro added.
In the same social network, Nicolas Maduro pointed out that Venezuela raised its flags of respect, honest dialogue and complementarity with allied countries and organizations in its sister Cuba.
“It is a commitment we have with the construction of the new world,” he said.
He also stated that with the G77 Summit we are living a historic moment with the geopolitical conditions for free peoples to raise their flags.
“We are on a path of great experiences”. Solidarity, knowledge and complementarity, he emphasized.
Taking the floor on Friday, the Venezuelan leader said that all the historical and political conditions seem to be coming together so that our peoples of the South can raise their flags of independence and sovereignty.
And thus, he claimed, be able to conclude the 21st century as our century, “without imperialism, without hegemonism”, in which we base our relations on permanent complementarity.
The Head of State recalled that the G77 will turn 60 years old next year, a period that is said to be fast, but in which many things happened in that time of struggles, advances, pains, hopes and “here we are setting the standard of what should be a civilizing model that allows dialogue, inclusion and integration”.
As peoples of the South we have to seek our own paths and not accept the dictates of any power with pretensions of domination, he stressed.
