According to the information disclosed, the Cuban leader reiterated his country’s strong commitment to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda and his willingness as president of the G77+China to work together on promoting concrete progress for the benefit of nations.
The meeting took place just as the G77+China Summit is being held in Havana, where over a hundred official delegations from member states and officials from international bodies are met to discuss political and economic issues.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez recently informed that the draft final declaration of the Summit is loyal to the purposes and principles of the Group, meets the needs of its member states and is firmly attached to the demand for the right to development amid an increasingly exclusive international order.
