In the framework of the G77+China Summit, which is being held in Havana, the Cuban leader welcomed Rashid Al Zayan in a meeting in which both parties expressed the desire to boost economic and cooperation ties.
An intense bilateral activity has been carried out by the Cuban president in his capacity as host of the Summit, which will conclude on Saturday with the adoption of a final declaration.
Díaz-Canel also held talks with his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame and with Qu Dongyu, FAO Director-General, among other personalities.
Focusing on the development of science, technology and innovation, about 100 presidents, foreign ministers and prime ministers took the floor at the Summit prior to the 3rd South Summit to be held in Kampala (Uganda) in 2024.
