Kim Jong Un visits aeronautical plants in eastern Russia

Moscow, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) The leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Un, toured two aeronautical plants in the city of Komsomolsk of the Amur, in eastern Russia, the Kremlin press office reported.

According to the dispatch, Kim Jong Un, in the company of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, visited the Komsomolsk on Amur Aeronautical Plant (KnAAZ, for its acronym in Russian), where the Su-35 and Su-57 fighter jets are assembled.

He also got acquainted with digital technologies of aeronautical constructions in the KnAAZ design office.

The leader of the DPRK also toured the industrial facilities of the Yakovlev aeronautical company, where parts of the fuselage and wing components of the SJ-100 commercial aircraft are manufactured.

At the end of his visit, Kim and Manturov witnessed a demonstration flight of the Su-35 multirole fighter.
