Ulloa met with members of the Commission of Public Finance and Economy of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, headed by Zhong Shan, who said he would meet with Salvadoran deputies and invited Ulloa to visit his country.
The vice president thanked the donation of the National Library, expected to be delivered next November, Surf City and the pier at the port of La Libertad, among other works including the construction of a national stadium in 2024.
During the talks, Ulloa pointed out that his country has become ‘a world reference in the areas of citizen security, closing the digital gap, innovation and fraternal relations with the rest of the world’.
He also said that the government is committed to opening new routes to the Atlantic Ocean with the aim of exporting products to China, strengthening the blue economy and promoting economic growth among the peoples of the region.
