The Israeli enemy perpetrated an aggression with missile blasts from the Mediterranean Sea against air defense batteries in the coastal governorate of Tartous, some 300 kilometers northwest of Damascus, the capital, the military body detailed in a statement.
As a result of the aggression, two soldiers were killed and six others were wounded, while material damage was reported.
A few hours later, Israeli fighters launched missiles from the airspace of northern Lebanon against some points in the vicinity of the city of Hama, head of the central province of the same name.
The aggression caused some material losses, the Ministry said.
Tel Aviv has so far this year launched 21 attacks against Syrian territory, the last one being on August 28 and rendering the Aleppo International Airport inoperative.
