The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. local time in a stadium in Buenos Aires. The Evita Movement, Somos Barrios de Pie and the Corriente Clasista y Combativa, among others, will be represented.

Under the slogan “Let’s Defend the Homeland”, the participants will reiterate their support for UP and urge to avoid the rise of the right-wing opposition.

The campaign has among its objectives the increase support for the duo of Sergio Massa and Agustín Rossi, and to gain the participation in the general elections, of October 22nd, of those who have abstained from voting in the elections of August 13th.

“We are choosing between national dissolution and the possibility of building a future. We have the enormous challenge of generating enthusiasm and expectation to block the way for the right,” the national coordinator of Barrios de Pie, Daniel Menéndez, recently stated.

The Evita Party warned that the candidates for La Libertad Avanza (Javier Milei) and Together for Change (Patricia Bullrich) “want to lead this country into a deep crisis, compromising institutional and economic stability.” It also advocated generating consensus “to avoid leaps into void and violence which can only lead to chaos.”
