The tribute is part of the activities organized within the context of the Days of Solidarity with Cuba so as to strengthen historical, cultural, and friendship ties.
It also marks the 50th anniversary of restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries, just one month before the 56th anniversary of the death of Guevara, a symbol of struggle and bonds between both peoples.
The event was organized by the Héctor P. Agosti Marxist Studies and Training Center (CEFMA), the Regional Coordinating Committee of the Más Cuba Movement, and the International Relations Observatory of the Victoria Foundation . It includes keynote speeches, cultural performances, and meetings in several locations in Misiones.
On Tuesday, a lecture on the example of Cuba and international solidarity took place at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National University of Misiones, in which Cuba’s Ambassador, Pedro Pablo Prada, and CEFMA Director Marcelo Rodríguez spoke.
