“On behalf of the Angolan Executive and myself, I express to the families of the victims our greatest solidarity and deepest condolences at this dramatic moment for the Libyan people.”
Storm Daniel hit the country and, according to the Libyan Ministry of the Interior, at least 5,300 people were reported dead due to the floods as of yesterday.
Meanwhile, the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the North African nation estimated the number of missing people at 10,000.
