The press service of the Russian presidency reported this Monday that Kim Jong Un will make an official visit to Russia in the coming days at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
As the presidential spokesman reported to Sputnik news agency, the statesmen will lead the official delegations that will hold talks on various topics. In addition, there will be a face-to-face meeting between Putin and Kim.
Peskov also reported that the parties will exchange opinions on the situation in the region and review bilateral relations. After the talks, the Russian president will host an official dinner on the occasion of the visit of the leader of the DPRK.
Peskov also reported that there are no plans to organize a press conference after the meeting between Putin and Kim.
Kim’s first trip to Russia took place in April 2019, when the DPRK leader limited himself to visiting the city of Vladivostok and met with the president of Russia on the grounds of the Far Eastern Federal University, where the Eastern Economic Forum is celebrated.
