The film, winner of the second call of the Cuban Film Development Fund (FFCC), will be screened at the Scotiabank Theatre Cinema in that Canadian city and will then be running until September 14.
The film, an all-Cuban production co-written by Alan González and Nuri Duarte, tells the story of a mother who fights for her son’s love.
It stars Cuban actress Lola Amores with the acting debut of Jean Marcos Fraga, accompanied by Isora Morales, Grisell Monzón, Yaité Ruiz, Leandro Sen, Afrodreak, Yailín Coppola and Jorge Perrugorría.
The feature film is the debut of González, who graduated from the University of the Arts with a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a specialty in screenwriting from the International Cinema and Television School.
