The Summit, called by the Cuban President and President Pro Tempore of G77+China Group Miguel Diaz-Canel, seeks to strengthen member countries’ unity as well as to decide on collective and practical actions to pose contemporary challenges effectively.
The meeting will be also attended by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Brazil); Alberto Fernandez (Argentina); Gustavo Petro (Colombia); Abdelatif Rashid (Iraq); and Xiomara Castro (Honduras).
Some other Presidents has just confirmed their attendance including Luis Arce (Bolivia); Ranil Wickremesinghe (Sri Lanka); Filipe Jacinto Nyusi (Mozambique); Thongloun Sisoulith (Laos); Obiang Nguema (Equatorial Guinea), as well as St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves.
MINREX stated that achieving the historic demands of the G77+China means building a fairer and more inclusive world that privileges international solidarity and cooperation.
