Putin to meet with Vice Premier of China, Vice President of Laos

Moscow, Sep 10 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Guoqing and Laotian Vice President Pany Yathotou, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov informed on Sunday.

The meetings will take place on the sidelines of the 8th Eastern Economic Forum, which is taking place in the Russian Far East city of Vladivostok from September 10 to 13, Peskov stated.

“The main foreign guest at the forum will be the vice president of Laos, who will participate in the forum’s plenary session along with President Putin on September 12. The head of State will hold a bilateral meeting with her before the session,” the presidential spokesman said.

He noted that Putin will meet with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Chinese Council of State, Zhang Guoqing, who will also visit Vladivostok and take part in the meeting.

“A very, very full program is expected in Vladivostok,” Peskov said.
