The OWGR 2nd edition, to be held on September 16 and 17 in Varadero resort, is one of the foremost of its kind in the Pan American area and boosts Cuba as a tourist destination for sports encounters.

In a press conference, Marleny Milian, director of Havanatur Travel Agency, explained that for making real this event, promoting entities are guaranteeing each hotel facility have availability in terms of food, since athletes require specialized diets.

The hotels Villa Cuba, Las Morlas, Solymar, Los Delfines and Starfish will receive participants in the aquatic competition, which in addition to finalizing general food details will have recovery areas after the competitions where tropical fruits and isotonic drinks will be offered, Milian said.
