Widodo and Li met at the Merdeka Palace, after the two leaders met at the ASEAN Summit held in this capital on Tuesday. The two leaders discussed issues of mutual political and economic interest.
Li visited the high-speed railway line between Jakarta and Bandung, part of the New Belt and Silk Road, which will start operating in October, and announced his country’s possible participation in another line.
Both Li and Widodo traveled to New Delhi on Friday to participate in the Summit of the G20, the group of the world’s 20 largest rich and developing economies, which Indonesia chaired last year.
