This is how Spokeswoman Mao Ning responded to Washington’s statements at international forums about a possible war in Taiwan.

According to the spokeswoman, by exaggerating the issue the United States seeks to turn the situation on Taiwan into an international problem, which “is very dangerous.”

“The most effective way to safeguard peace and stability… is to adhere to the one-China principle and unequivocally oppose Taiwan independence,” she stressed.

Relations between Beijing and Washington are at the worst moment in their history due to the US economic warfare and its interference in internal affairs such as Taiwan.

China recently protested the new US military aid to Taiwan and the fact that it was approved under the financing program to sovereign countries.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that this assistance seriously affects China’s sovereignty and security interests and endangers peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
