It is a significant platform so that the Asia-Pacific countries can reach consensus on cooperation and pursue development, according to the Foreign Ministry.
“Under the strategic leadership of Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, China-Russia relations have been at a high level, and bilateral cooperation in several fields has made steady progress,” Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Mao Ning said.
She added that Beijing expects to work with Moscow to strengthen ties between Northeast China and Russia’s Far East to develop the region together.
The 8th Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 10 to 12, 2023.
Official sources in Russia confirmed an agenda focused on cooperation with friendly countries, exports of Russian products, integration of payment infrastructure, competition for investment and human capital, technological development, and works to renovate the Far East cities.
