According to the spokeswoman, Lavrov will hold several meetings with regional partners and representatives of multilateral associations as part of his program in Jakarta.
The East Asia Summit is made up of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries: Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and by dialogue partner nations: Russia, Australia, the United Kingdom, India, China, the United States, Japan, New Zealand, and the Republic of Korea.
East Timor, as a candidate for ASEAN membership, was also invited to the events of this year’s meeting.
