In the ceremony, held at Cuba´s Foreign Ministry (MINREX), the Swiss diplomat presented the copies of style as new ambassador to the government of the Republic of Cuba, according to MINREX.
In April 2023, the Counselor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis paid an official visit to Cuba, an occasion that reaffirmed the interest in continuing to strengthen bilateral ties with a long history of friendship and cooperation.
