A report from that institution adds that the central phrase of the meeting is For an Intelligent Tourism, in allusion to the examination of new information technologies and their use in the sector.
The meeting is scheduled from October 25 to 28 in the Zapata Swamp (south-west, Matanzas), the most important wetland of Cuba and a good part of the Caribbean, an important scenario for recreation, highly demanded by travelers from all over the world.
In addition, the Second Inclusive Tourism Workshop is listed as part of the meeting. The president of the Organizing Committee is Dr.C Alejandro Delgado, and the president of the Scientific Committee Dr.C Lisandra Torres-dean of the faculty-, they specified in message published in their official Telegram channel.
This is a meeting planned primarily for students, professionals and academics with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences in tourism management, as well as incorporating the best practices at international level in these issues.
The II Workshop on Innovation in Tourism will focus on emerging models of innovation, the development of innovative environments in tourism, and the role of stakeholders in the development of innovations in tourism.
