At the closure of the fourth cycle of peace talks between Petro’s government and the National Liberation Army (ELN), Yvan Gil cited Maduro, “peace in Colombia is urgent, unpostponable and necessary.

Gil noted the Venezuelan government, as guarantor, is fully committed and determined to support as requested by Colombia and its political forces for full peace project, encouraged by President Petro, which includes a clamor of the Colombian people.

“We´re pleased to have hosted the fourth cycle of peace negotiations between the Colombian Government and the ELN in Caracas.

On Monday, both sides announced the Caracas Agreements, where the Political and Conceptual Framework for taking humanitarian actions stands out.
