The head of State also sent congratulations to the Caribbean nation because; “no matter what it takes, all our schools are still open”.

According to authorities of the Ministry of Education, the new school period must be characterized by a permanent evaluation of the priorities established to make it sustainable throughout the year.

Regarding the guarantee of literature and teaching material for the new school year, the head of the sector, Naima Trujillo informed that the school year has started with an adjusted standard of notebooks because it has not been possible to produce all the titles of books used so far in the educational system.
