The Cuban player Raul Martinez won in his modality, defeating Puerto Rican Ramon Sanchez and Javier Mendez.

Meanwhile, Cuban players Kylie Larduet and Wendy Duran were unable to maintain the initial advantage of the match – even up to 12 points – and were beaten by Panamanians Diana Maura and Marilu Gonzalez.

In statements to Prensa Latina, the President of the Cuban Basque Pelota Federation Lazaro Mendoza praised the high competitive level of the event, in which Alejandro Gonzalez (fullback) and Dayan Aguirre (forward) could not retain the leadership of the previous edition.

In 2022, both players won the finals defeating locals Dayron Mateo and Étienne Castañon 30-24.
