Cuba confiscated boats found in its aquatic areas

Havana, Sep 2 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of the Interior reported on the confiscation of four vessels found in the national aquatic spaces, which can be reclaimed starting from today.

The note of the institution said that those affected may claim their rights in writing to the head of the Directorate of Border Guard Troops within 20 calendar days, beginning from the publication of this note in a newspaper of national circulation.

The statement, published the day before in the Granma newspaper, details that in April 2022, in the north of Mayabeque, a white motor sailboat, hull material wood, length 16 meters, beam 12 meters and depth 5.50 meters, on board was a Yamaha outboard motor of 40 hp.

Likewise, in October of that year, an unmarked jet ski was confiscated, with registration number FL8074RP, from the United States of America, with registration port Florida, Kawasaki brand, green and black, length 3.0 meters, beam 1.0 meter, depth 0.40 meters.
